Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Ledra is built so your diary stays on your phone. This page explains exactly what that means, in plain language.

Who we are

Ledra is published by CyberBoon ("we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].

What stays on your device

Your diary is stored by the app on your phone. There is no Ledra account, no sign-in and no cloud sync of your entries. We cannot read your entries because we never receive them.

What leaves your device

Only two kinds of data, both anonymous:

1. Usage counts

A short, fixed list of event names (for example app_open, screen_view, entry_logged, report_exported, purchase_done) with a small set of technical properties such as app version, platform, locale and step index. Free text is never sent: no entry text, no medication names, no notes, no dates of your entries. A random installation identifier groups events from one install; it is not linked to any account, name or email.

2. Error reports

If the app hits an unexpected error, a technical report (error type, stack location, app version, platform) is sent so the bug can be fixed. Error reports never contain your entry content.

Your IP address is used only to derive an approximate country and is not stored. Usage data is deleted automatically after 10 days; only aggregated counts (installs, daily activity) are kept. You can turn usage counts off at any time in Settings → Anonymous usage data. With the switch off, no events are sent.

What we never collect

Purchases

Premium is sold through Google Play or the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by the store; we receive only the subscription status (active or not) and never your card details. Refunds and cancellation are handled by the store you bought from.

Your choices

Children

Ledra is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Legal bases and your rights

Where GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interest for anonymous product analytics and on your consent where required. You may request access, correction, deletion or portability of data we hold, and you may object to processing. Because entries never reach us, most requests are satisfied in the app itself. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the new version will be published on this page with a new date, and the change will be noted in the app's release notes.
